Biomedical Laboratory Diagnostics – Fixed Term Faculty (Teaching)
Salary: Negotiable; commensurate with experience
The Biomedical Laboratory Diagnostics Program at Michigan State University invites applications for two non-tenure stream fixed term faculty positions. Each appointment will be academic nine month positions. The individual will be responsible for instruction pertinent to their expertise in a NAACLS-accredited and non-accredited bachelor’s degree majors as well as graduate programs. Additional responsibilities will include advising, student affair activities, professional activities and outreach. A Ph.D. or equivalent is required as well as clinical laboratory certification (e.g. NCA, ASCP, SCM, ABHI, etc.) and experience. The successful candidate will demonstrate superb teaching skills and knowledge, good writing skills, and ability to work well in a team environment. Opportunities for summer employment or clinical activities may be accommodated.
Qualifications: Ph.D. or equivalent and clinical laboratory certification required.
